Technical Advisor (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Technical customer support: 2nd level support for our customers and assistance with the implementation of their projects.
- Customer requirements & software rollout: Determining customer requirements and organizing the rollout of new software versions.
- Data analysis & optimization: Evaluation of large amounts of data to control and optimize devices in the field.
- Problem solving: Analyzing problems in the field and developing customer-specific solutions.
- Sales support & training: Supporting sales on site with technical expertise and imparting technical knowledge during user training sessions.
Profile
- Degree: Completed studies in mathematics, computer science or a comparable field
- Statistical knowledge: Good knowledge of stochastics and the use of MS Excel for statistical analysis.
- Technical knowledge: Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols as well as initial experience with Linux.
- Working method: Systematic, independent and goal-oriented work with a strong practical orientation.
- Strong communication skills: A confident, engaging and communicative manner.
- Willingness to travel: Willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
- Language skills: Good command of English for communication with international customers.
- Additional experience: Experience in requirements management is an advantage, ideally also in the rail environment also in the railroad environment.
