Junior Valuation Analyst (m/f/d)
Project information
- The Valuation Team is primarily tasked with the evaluation of different investment opportunities, in the context of the enterprise strategy, ensuring a level playing field and adherence to valuation best practices and company standards.
- As a Junior Valuation Analyst, you'll support the Valuation team with the accurate, complete and timely delivery of financial models and model assessments to support decision making.
Responsibilities
- Populating valuation models for M&A transactions and refining them to fit specific requirements; review and interpreting vendor models
- Calculation of project specific discount rates
- Supporting the value in use calculations for Group impairment testing
- Contribute to the annual budget balance sheet and cash flow planning process in Quantrix Modeler
- Provide ad-hoc support to the broader team (Modelling, M&A)
Profile
- Highly motivated to develop financial modelling capabilities
- Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Degree in business administration, economics or related
- Work effectively in a team setting and across functions
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to translate key findings
- CFA qualification or working towards is beneficial
- Experience in the energy sector of advantage
- Fluency in English; German and/or French advantageous
