Responsibilities

  • Develop new test cases as part of in-sprint development
  • Design, enhance, and execute test cases for sprints and regression testing
  • Attend agile meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement) for assigned projects
  • Perform manual testing using various techniques such as UI testing, cross-browser testing, internationalization testing, database testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing
  • Handle changes and conduct regression testing
  • Coordinate with test team members and development team to resolve issues
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs

Profile

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, client-server architecture, and experience with multiple databases
  • Proficient in using development tools for debugging and log validation
  • Experienced with data formats like XML and JSON
  • Skilled in database testing and SQL
  • Experienced in API testing with tools like Postman or Swagger
  • Familiar with JIRA and other test management tools
  • Well-versed in SDLC, STLC, and other quality assurance processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German advantageous
