QA Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Develop new test cases as part of in-sprint development
- Design, enhance, and execute test cases for sprints and regression testing
- Attend agile meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement) for assigned projects
- Perform manual testing using various techniques such as UI testing, cross-browser testing, internationalization testing, database testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing
- Handle changes and conduct regression testing
- Coordinate with test team members and development team to resolve issues
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs
Profile
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of REST APIs, client-server architecture, and experience with multiple databases
- Proficient in using development tools for debugging and log validation
- Experienced with data formats like XML and JSON
- Skilled in database testing and SQL
- Experienced in API testing with tools like Postman or Swagger
- Familiar with JIRA and other test management tools
- Well-versed in SDLC, STLC, and other quality assurance processes
- Excellent communication skills in English; German advantageous
